Privacy policy

Tiny Necromancer works without an account. Your game progress stays on your device, and ads are optional rewards.

Effective 26 September 2026

Who is responsible

Tiny Necromancer is developed and published by Callum Eddisford. For privacy questions or requests, email support@callumeddisford.co.uk.

Information stored on your device

The game stores progress, settings, run history, earned resources, equipment, purchase entitlement state, advertising reward limits, and active-run recovery information locally on your device. The game uses elapsed system time to recover stamina, enforce daily reward limits, and resume a ritual.

This information is not automatically sent to the developer. Deleting the app may delete local progress. Permanent non-consumable purchases can be restored through Apple where supported.

Optional rewarded advertising

You may choose to watch a rewarded ad for an in-game benefit. Ads are not required to start or complete the game, and Tiny Necromancer does not show forced interstitial ads.

Ads are supplied by Google AdMob. The app requests non-personalized ads, disables Google's publisher first-party identifier, and does not request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission. Google and participating ad providers may still process information needed to request, deliver, secure, limit, and measure an ad, including:

  • IP-derived approximate location and device information;
  • advertising, app, and product interactions;
  • performance, crash, and other diagnostic information; and
  • identifiers used for ad delivery, fraud prevention, and frequency limits.

Where required, the game presents Google's consent form before requesting ads. Required privacy choices can be reopened from Settings. Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Purchases

Optional in-app purchases are processed by Apple under Apple's terms and privacy policy. Tiny Necromancer reads verified StoreKit transaction and entitlement status to deliver a purchase once, restore permanent cosmetics, and process refunds or revocations. The game stores the minimum product and transaction identifiers locally for those purposes and does not send them to a developer-operated server.

Diagnostics and support

You can choose to copy or share a diagnostic report when contacting support. You control the destination; the report is not sent automatically. It may contain the app and build version, device-system information, a gameplay summary, chapter, hero, modifier, and deterministic run seed.

The report is designed not to include Apple credentials, contacts, advertising identifiers, purchase transaction identifiers, wallet balances, or free-form personal text. If you email support, the email address, message, attachments, and technical details you choose to provide are used to answer your request and investigate the issue.

Permissions and developer analytics

The audited version does not request precise location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, health, Bluetooth, local-network, or advertising-tracking permission. It does not include developer analytics, developer-operated crash reporting, or developer-enabled cross-app tracking. Ad providers may infer approximate location from the network address without asking for location permission.

This website

This website does not set advertising cookies, create user accounts, or use analytics trackers. It is hosted on Google Cloud. Like most hosting providers, Google Cloud may process technical request information such as an IP address, browser details, requested page, and timestamp to deliver and secure the site. The developer does not use that information to build advertising profiles.

Retention, deletion, and your choices

Local game data remains on your device until it is removed through the game, operating system, or app deletion, subject to Apple's backup behavior. You can decline rewarded ads and still play the game. Where a consent form is required, you can revisit it from the game's Settings screen.

Support correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, investigate recurring problems, meet legal obligations, and protect the service. To ask about or request deletion of support information held by the developer, contact the address below. Google and Apple handle requests concerning data they control under their own privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated before adding accounts, cloud saves, a commerce server, analytics, developer crash reporting, personalized advertising, mediation partners, social features, or another new data transfer. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
